GENE RUMLEY

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
Gene Rumley is originally from Martinsville, Virginia and is a graduate of Danville Technical Institute. He began his career in the music industry by founding the band, "Gene and the Team Beats," in the 1960's. The group recorded three albums in the 1960s and appeared with major recording artists including Otis Redding, Jimmy Clanton, and Sam n Dave.
Gene later became an international business consultant and motivational trainer for companies in North America and Australasia; growing sales and conducting leadership and personal development seminars. His ability to inspire and encourage people to reach their full potential continues to take him around the world for speaking engagements.
Today, Gene assists in rescuing and providing a voice for defenseless street children and orphans. He and his wife Arlene founded the non-profit organization "Mission for Orphans" to feed, clothe, and educate street children and orphans in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Gene's recent documentary, "My Name is Orphan," seeks to raise awareness about the plight of poverty-stricken children by sharing their stories with the world.
